Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify industrial electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing environment. Perform routine facility and equipment maintenance on production motors, drives, pumps, and control panels while recording critical information. Diagnose and communicate equipment issues, perform daily activities independently with minimal supervision, and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Read and interpret prints, diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to resolve reliability problems across internal and external customers. Requires strong electrical aptitude, knowledge of 110/240/480-volt power, and ability to use hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- Strong electrical aptitude and ability to learn industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automation equipment.
- Basic electrical knowledge with 110/240/480-volt power.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, specifications and manufacturer manuals and drawings.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Knowledge of one or more building trades.
- Lock Out / Tag Out Certification or willingness to obtain.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of forklifts, aerial lifts, hoists, and other maintenance-related equipment and welding/fabrication skills a plus.
