Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, and processing systems on all production equipment and building infrastructure. Install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, switchgear, transformers, motors, and control systems while reading blueprints and electrical code specifications. Conduct preventive maintenance programs, test equipment for continuity and voltage, and maintain accurate records. Assist production employees in machinery operation and enforce all safety, health, GMP, and quality policies. Interact with managers, vendors, and customers while working under pressure to meet deadlines. Two-year Associate Degree in electrical field is a plus; five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Limited travel may be required.

- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally
- Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others
Desired Qualifications
- Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field
- A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience
