Job Summary
Bend and install rigid conduit, set up and pull wire and cable, and terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire. Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices, and install and troubleshoot PLCs, AC and DC drives, and motor control systems. Read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, and formulas to complete tasks. Operate, maintain, and work near power equipment including forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, and hydraulic tools. Perform duties while standing, walking, kneeling, climbing ladders up to 35 feet, and working from platforms and scaffolds. Lift and move heavy objects, remain stationary for extended periods, and work in various heights. Requires 3-5 years of experience, knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards, and ability to work in renewables, data centers, oil and gas, food and beverage, manufacturing, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields.
Required Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Proven experience in electrical field
- Knowledgeable of single and three phase motors and motor control systems
- Must be safety conscious
- 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Must be able to lift to 20-30 pounds independently
- Must be able to remain stationary position for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up and down stairs on regular basis
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift
- Must be able to work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts
- Must be able to bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift
- Must be able to operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools, and automatic machinery
