Job Summary
Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and building systems, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and processing issues. Install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, switchgear, motors, and control systems while reading blueprints and adhering to safety, health, and GMP policies. Test equipment for continuity, voltage, and resistance, maintain accurate records, and assist production employees in machinery operation. Work a night shift (6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) on a 2/2/3 schedule in Tolleson, AZ, with a starting rate of $35.90 to $43.00 per hour. Limited travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus
- A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally
- Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others
- Limited travel may be required
