Job Summary
Industrial Electrician responsible for electrical maintenance and repair in a lumber-manufacturing environment, including installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of motors, generators, pumps, PLCs, and related controls; read blueprints/schematics, run conduit/wire, support PLC programming, and ensure safe, efficient operation with shift work.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years industrial electrician experience
- read electrical blueprints and schematics
- troubleshoot motors, controllers, PLCs
- AC/DC motors, generators
- programming and troubleshooting PLCs
- control systems installation and repair
- experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix and PLC-5 (preferred)
- variable speed drive experience (preferred Control Techniques)
- ability to work independently with little supervision
- shift work required
- safety and efficiency mindset
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
- saw mill or heavy industry experience preferred
