Job Summary
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on bakery equipment while practicing safe work habits and proper tool usage. Assist with preventive maintenance tasks, respond to equipment stoppages, and identify or replace mechanical drive and conveyor components. Maintain a clean work environment and comply with all company policies, including safety and EEO standards. Rotate job assignments across various bakery areas and climb ladders or crawl under machinery as required. Complete pre-screening questions and attend interviews; apply by 9/1/2026. Enroll in a technical or college program in industrial maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a Technical/Trade or College program in industrial maintenance or related field
- Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty feet
- Ability to stoop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty pounds
- Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required
- Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Must be flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery
- Must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards
