Job Summary
Industrial Machinery Service Technician needed for direct mail manufacturing at our Cincinnati, OH facility. The role focuses on maintaining facility systems, utilities, and production equipment with a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility and print/lettershop equipment; conducting scheduled PMs and documenting results; providing 24/7 support for urgent issues; assisting operators with complex production tasks; ordering and tracking spare parts; coordinating with vendors for installations and PM services; supporting continuous improvement; and traveling to vendor locations or sister facilities as needed. Shift is primarily 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4:00PM) with travel availability for urgent issues and occasional travel to other sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- five (5) years building maintenance experience or equivalent
- 3–5 years experience in facilities maintenance or related functions
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements and safety precautions for facilities management
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments (print, mail, or related)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs
