Job Summary
Assemble fabricated and machined components to build shot blast equipment under the Assembly Manager's direction. Rig and load trucks using overhead cranes independently and perform advanced small to large machinery assembly. Read blueprints and schematics, determine proper tools and machinery for the production schedule, and complete final inspections to meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting internal and external customers. Requires 3+ years of manufacturing experience, overhead crane proficiency, and strong mechanical knowledge; weld skills preferred. Full understanding of blueprint readings and schematics essential.
Required Qualifications
- Very strong mechanical ability to assemble fabricated and machined components
- Rig and load trucks using overhead cranes independently
- Ability to perform advanced small to large machinery assembly
- Full understanding of blueprint readings and schematics
- Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to make metric system conversions
- Mechanical Knowledge
- Overhead crane experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or similar setting
- Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Problem Solving skills, the ability to make decisions and follow-through
Desired Qualifications
- Experience repairing heavy industrial equipment preferred
- Complete final inspection of all parts to meet quality standards
- Ability to weld preferred, but not required
- Experience with industrial heavy machine assembly preferred
- Hydraulics experience is a plus
