Industrial Machine Assembly - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Performs disassembly and repair of heavy equipment, verifies conformance to blueprints using calipers, gauges, and micrometers, aligns components for assembly (manually or with a crane), removes high spots and smooths surfaces with chisels and grinders, assembles and tests machines for functionality and adherence to customer specifications, forms/bends/attaches piping and fixtures for air, water, and oil systems, verifies tolerances with measuring tools, installs moving parts and auxiliary equipment, and tests operation of the completed product. Requires solid mechanical skills, ability to use cranes and heavy tools, ability to interpret prints, and capability to operate small machine tools, welders, and forklifts. Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm. Required Qualifications
- Solid mechanical skills
- own tools of the trade
- ability to read and interpret assembly prints and blueprints
- experience with cranes, forklifts, and basic shop tools
- physical ability to handle heavy equipment
- basic computer skills and basic shop math
