Job Summary
Perform inspections, lubricate moving parts, change filters, and conduct minor repairs on industrial equipment, fixtures, and systems. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks via CMMS while troubleshooting degraded or contaminated lubricants and abnormal machine wear. Respond to work orders, provide service feedback to customers, and recommend improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance. Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic hardware, and a fork truck while adhering to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements. Maintain strict schedules with flexibility for overtime, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts to meet critical business demands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
- Basic lubrication technician skills
- Must be able to drive a fork truck
- Must have experience with hand and power tools
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a security access badge
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift
- Ability to regularly bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift
- Ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift
- Ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift
- Ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift
- Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
- Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding
- Ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress
- Ability to use a Company/Client approved utility knife
Desired Qualifications
- Operates a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Performs predictive and preventive maintenance as scheduled in CMMS
- Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards
- Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance
- Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required
- Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work
- Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer
