Job Summary
Assist Mechanics with applying insulation materials including fiberglass and urethane using hand and power tools. Maintain tools, manage material safely, and ensure work area cleanliness. Must complete JHA reviews, report safety concerns, and demonstrate professional communication. Requires reliable transportation, ability to travel, and willingness to work overtime. Entry-level role requiring manual labor capability, eagerness to learn, and adherence to safety protocols. Physical endurance needed for tasks involving climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of insulation experience or as recommended by the Branch Manager
- A combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the required work
- Willingness and ability to perform manual labor by following verbal and written instructions
- Eagerness and motivation to learn new skills
- Ability to learn basic tool operations, safety procedures, types of insulation, and equipment usage
- Must complete initial safety training (12 hours), OSHA 10-hour certification, and annual refresher courses, including HAZCOM and fall protection training
