Job Summary
Industrial Injury Prevention Specialists collaborate with physicians to prevent/manage workplace injuries, providing triage, first-aid, education, and escalation of care. Responsibilities include ergonomic analysis for workstation improvements, on-the-job coaching to optimize body mechanics, promoting employee wellness and lifestyle changes, maintaining records of triage and education, and assisting in injury case management and rehabilitation. Requires strong communication, data/report preparation, and ability to work independently within a mainly indoor office environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and current NATABOC certification with CPR are required; 3+ years of athletic training experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field
- NATABOC Certified, in good standing
- Must hold CPR certification
- At least 3 years’ athletic training experience
