Job Summary
Industrial Hygienist to manage industrial hygiene programs, perform field exposure assessments and monitoring, and develop reports and site policies. Will deliver training on industrial hygiene methods, serve as SME for chemical, physical, and biological exposure controls including radiation safety and respiratory protection, review scientific literature for advances, collaborate with Operations and Maintenance, support IT systems and health surveillance programs, and provide field safety support within the refinery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety, engineering, or a related science with minimum two (2) years of related experience
- OR high school diploma or GED with five (5) years of relevant experience
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the refinery (including respiratory protection when needed)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for future VISA sponsorship
- Travel requirement of 5% or less
- Ability to work with limited direct oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
