Job Summary

Asbestos and Lead Inspector/Monitor responsible for field work on Regulated Building Materials and Industrial Hygiene projects in the Los Angeles area, including inspections, abatement monitoring/oversight, air sampling and onsite analysis, with potential IAQ/mold investigations and report writing. The role requires CA CSST asbestos credential and CA Lead Sampling Technician credential, base out of Los Angeles or Irvine offices, travel across the greater Southern California area (and potentially other western states), flexible hours including nights/weekends, and strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Problem-solving skills: able to identify problems and implement corrective processes.
  • Strong communication, skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned work and contribute to the success of the team. This includes the ability self-perform work, prioritize schedule, communicate with project team as needed, produce on time, high-quality documentation and be responsive to phone and email requests
  • The willingness to learn new digital technologies for field services
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment over the duration of a work shift
  • Must be able to climb and descend a ladder
  • A valid driver’s license, clean driving record is required.
  • Must be able to clear background check, pass medical exam and be medically cleared to wear negative pressure respirator
  • Ability to work on teams as well as independently with minimal direct supervision
