Job Summary
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in all Industrial HVAC components, then repair or replace defective parts while installing equipment requiring highly technical skills. Respond to work orders for HVAC and production equipment breakdowns, performing diagnostics using wiring diagrams and schematics. Execute preventative maintenance on complex systems including Industrial Chillers, boilers, steam systems, and natural gas units. Replace worn parts, follow job safety analysis, and report unsafe conditions to supervision. Direct the work of craft trainees and assist in other crafts as directed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum Industrial/Manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC motor controls and instrumentation calibration
- Industrial chiller operations
Desired Qualifications
- 2 year Associate Degree in Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration (CFC) or equivalent certification training
