Job Summary
Industrial Groundwater Treatment Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, and completion of industrial groundwater treatment projects. Responsibilities include coordinating engineers/operators/contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and company policies; developing schedules and budgets; managing documentation (contracts, reports, technical specs); acting as primary liaison between stakeholders and agencies; overseeing installation, operation, and testing of wastewater treatment equipment; troubleshooting operational/technical issues; and training project staff. Key knowledge areas include groundwater treatment processes and equipment (filtration, pumps, chemical feeds, monitoring), project-management practices (budgeting, scheduling, risk management, resources), environmental and safety regulations for groundwater and industrial wastewater systems, SCADA and electrical/control systems, and proficiency with PM software and MS Office. Preferred qualifications mention PMP certification and prior project experience in groundwater/wastewater treatment, with strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A background in mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in managing industrial groundwater or wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
