Job Summary
Own the lifecycle of plant mechanical systems through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation. Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems while servicing power transmission systems to keep conveyors, cranes, and mobile equipment dependable. Assist operating teams to stabilize and sustain production across diverse environments, including hot, cold, dirty, and noisy conditions. Perform tasks at heights and in confined spaces using standard and specialized tools, including mobile equipment like pendant and overhead cranes. Operate under an 8-hour rotating schedule that includes Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, with ability to work overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of assessment test(s)
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience (relevant military experience welcomed) or equivalent education
- Applicable backgrounds include: hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission systems, welding, pipefitting, structural repair, and diesel mechanic
- Commitment to an 8-hour rotating schedule that includes Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Uncompromising safety mindset and adherence to all procedures, including required PPE: hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and metatarsal-protection boots
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong self-direction to keep operations on track
