Job Summary
Industrial Engineering Specialist responsible for process and productivity improvement in manufacturing. Leads time studies, method studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to meet efficiency, output, and cost targets. Drives Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) and supports standardization (SOPs, work instructions). Performs manpower planning, workload balancing, and KPI monitoring; supports NPI activities and ramp-up. Designs and optimizes production layout and material flow, collaborates with Facilities & Manufacturing Engineering, and develops dashboards and reports to track productivity and ROI. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering and 2–5 years of hands-on manufacturing/IE experience; strong data analysis, Excel, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial engineering (experience level adjustable)
- Hands-on experience in productivity improvement and manufacturing operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of time study, line balancing, capacity planning
- Lean Manufacturing principles
- Productivity and efficiency metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, charts)
- Experience with dashboards, data tracking, or manufacturing KPIs is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Detail-oriented with a structured working mindset
