Job Summary
Conduct on-site process observation, operation analysis, layout review, material flow path analysis, and workstation utilization assessment on production lines to identify improvement opportunities. Support AI application scenarios by facilitating PoC testing, data preparation, feedback collection, and result tracking based on real shop-floor pain points. Verify improvement activities through before-and-after comparisons and benefit tracking. This Industrial Engineering and AI Application Intern role focuses on enhancing production line efficiency and advancing robotics and automation deployment within Operations Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or master's student majoring in Industrial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production line operations, and shop-floor improvement
- Strong problem-solving capability and hands-on mindset
- Interest in using AI tools to support factory productivity improvement
- Proficient in applying industrial engineering tools
- Familiar with basic lean manufacturing concepts and related tools
- Basic data analysis capability
