Job Summary
Synchronize production flow between departments and organize the layout of the production flow to optimize the production cycle. Build processes to improve efficiency, develop and implement standards, and determine the root cause of issues to recommend design or process changes. Design workstations, fixtures, and tooling as needed while providing technical support to the manufacturing team. Assist with evaluating ergonomics, efficiency, and safety in workstation design and support the implementation of new layouts, equipment, and process improvements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, 2-5 years of relevant experience, and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or relevant equivalent work experience
- At least 2-5 years of industrial engineering work experience in a production/manufacturing environment or relevant equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing experience
- MRP experience
- ERP experience
- Computer modeling experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime
- Ability to understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications
- Self-motivation with ability to work without much supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
