Job Summary
Define the site role within the network and deploy site strategy to fulfill that role. Own the base masterplan submission with the site technical manager and drive business change through program development and design. Lead oversight of weekly and periodic reporting to establish a data-driven culture, while partnering with the site technical manager on the minor capital budget. Strategically align with the Operations Manager to create and implement the annual site strategic plan, using benchmarking outcomes to establish a best-in-class roadmap across all site elements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience within Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement
- 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years leading others within manufacturing
- Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced mathematical problem-solving
- Critical thinking skills to analyze data, optimize processes, and drive evidence-based decisions
- Proven record of success in implementing sustained continuous improvement charters
- Experience in leading Continuous Improvement projects in manufacturing projects utilizing Lean Methodologies (SIXSIGMA, DMIAC, 5S, etc.)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
- Track record in leading step-change initiatives / Best practice roll-out
