Job Summary
Industrial Engineer (Contract) to optimize complex manufacturing processes and systems, perform time studies, update line Current VSMs, lead Kaizen events, and improve plant layout using AutoCAD. Responsibilities include analyzing production data, applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish standard operating procedures, and training staff on new processes/tools to enhance productivity. The role emphasizes driving process improvements, maintaining line capacity and workflow efficiency, and managing projects within timelines and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement within a manufacturing setting
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive decisions
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for process modeling and analysis
- Fluent in English
- Valid VISA and Passport (highly required)
