Job Summary
Plan, oversee, and perform analysis on equipment layout, workflow, workstation movement, and manpower to ensure efficient plant resource utilization. Coordinate with impacted departments to reorganize workflows and conduct time studies of manufacturing processes. Prepare quotes for mechanical assemblies using multiphase optimization strategies and Design for Assembly methods. Support pre-production and new launch High Level Assembly builds while recommending improvements for logistics, ergonomics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Complete equipment qualifications and maintain up-to-date master facility drawings. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required with at least one year of experience in volume manufacturing. Auburn Hills, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
- Equivalent work experience and training in an Industrial Engineering role in a volume manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working in an Industrial Engineering position
- Experience using MOST or MODE APTS
- Experience using similar types of programs to MOST or MODE APTS
