Job Summary
Industrial Engineer Intern will support product development in the Consumer Power generator and Power Tool product areas, including creating and maintaining CAD models, drawings, and BOMs; assisting with product development plans (schedule, product cost, meeting design inputs); interfacing with internal personnel; providing technical support for assigned projects; and contributing to design for manufacturability, testing, validation plans, and material specifications. The role involves collaboration with manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers, using CAD/CAE tools to model designs and produce engineering drawings, and assisting with cost, safety, and reliability analyses. The internship requires full-time availability during the summer and offers hands-on experience in an agile, manufacturing-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering)
- Understanding or working knowledge of Pro-E and/or AutoCAD experience
- Microsoft Office experience (including Excel)
- Proficient oral and written communication and able to write clearly and succinctly to get a message across
- ABILITY TO WORK FULL-TIME DURING THE SUMMER – 40 HOUR WEEK
