Job Summary
Monitor and drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity, efficiency, and operational performance within assigned areas. Conduct time studies and labor analyses to validate process effectiveness, while collecting and analyzing PPQT data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support facility layouts, workflow design, and customer-specific production area moves or expansions by developing operational data and labor estimates for quotations. Partner with Industrial Engineering Technicians to support training, development, and knowledge sharing, promoting standardization of processes and best practices. Drive manufacturing excellence through line balancing, workflow optimization, workstation design, material flow improvements, and changeover efficiency initiatives to reduce waste and minimize defects. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and tools
- Work measurement and labor analysis
- Process mapping and workflow optimization
- Facility and workstation design
- Capacity planning and resource utilization
- Continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze operational data to drive decision-making
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and operational performance metrics
- Ability to support and adapt to organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Visio
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience with AutoCAD
