Job Summary
Apply Lean tools and methodologies, including value stream mapping, line balancing, and statistical analysis, to optimize product and material flow across production and new product development. Manage cross-functional projects focused on problem-solving and operational excellence while leading Kaizen events to enhance quality, cost, delivery, and safety performance. Lead facility layout and workstation design projects to improve workflow and reduce labor effort, and develop labor standards to support accurate product costing and resource planning. Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement initiatives that drive year-over-year productivity gains. Promote Lean principles throughout the site, deliver training to employees at all levels, and mentor team members. Work onsite at the Maple Grove, Minnesota location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or engineering degree
- Minimum of 2 years' of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean Principles, Systems, and Tools
- Proficient user of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Experience with capacity analysis, problem solving and resource optimization
- This position follows an onsite work model and requires employees to work from our Maple Grove, Minnesota, location

Desired Qualifications
- Background in medical device manufacturing or a similar field
- Experience with simulation software such as Arena, Simulate, or FlexSim
- Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau for data analysis and visualization
