Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer to create, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing systems, reducing costs while maintaining standards. Collaborate with senior engineers to design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and build ergonomics for new product lines. Designs or enhances work areas to reduce awkward positions, repetitive motions, and inefficient operations. Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and applies it to sustain competitive edge. Identifies and assesses problems and variances from manufacturing standards; researches and recommends solutions. Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems; implements methods to reduce production costs. May assist with supervision of technicians and perform other tasks as assigned. Requires Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering and one year of engineering experience.
