Job Summary
Lead manufacturing process improvement and operational excellence by designing efficient production systems, implementing lean initiatives, and optimizing material flow from product launch through full-scale production. Conduct new product reviews for manufacturability improvements, develop equipment and process requirements, and perform vendor searches to ensure quality production at effective costs. Promote lean operations using 5S, Poka Yoke, Kaizen, and Kanban while building PFEP plans and implementing pull signals for improved line-side presentation. Analyze new processes to achieve continuous improvement, generate capital investment requests, and train personnel on new materials and equipment. Design layouts for warehouse operations and collaborate with operations teams to solve problems and support new process adoption. This role is based in Springfield, TN, requiring a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
