Job Summary
Apply industrial engineering concepts to product, process, and services to meet moderate complexity program requirements. Maintain plant layouts, capacity plans, and accident prevention measures while optimizing production systems by integrating design, supply base, and personnel. Develop models and spreadsheets to analyze data for consultation to leaders, and assist in improving schedule performance, cost, and quality for large-scale systems integration. Reconcile compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines. Work onsite at the North Charleston, South Carolina location in the first shift. This role is within Boeing Commercial Airplanes' Industrial Engineering Team.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Skilled with effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
- 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment
- 1 year of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
- 1 year of experience working in Microsoft Office Suite products
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, South Carolina location
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
