Job Summary
Industrial Engineer for Anduril's Manufacturing Team to drive manufacturing optimization. Will capture current processes into a 3D simulation-based virtual factory to serve as a knowledge base, create feasible shop floor, warehouse, factory and supply chain execution plans, and maintain a current-status digital model for assessing performance across transformation projects. Responsible for designing new production lines and work station layouts for both low and full-rate production, identifying high-variation processes and bottlenecks, and driving resolution across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality. Key metrics include cycle time, throughput, capacity, utilization, and first pass yield. Requires cross-domain collaboration and capability to own value chains from start to finish. Preferred qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience with Lean Six Sigma, data visualization, ERP/WMS/MES systems, and 3D CAD/layout skills. US Salary Range provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with Technomatix Plant Sim or equivalent DES (Promodel, FlexSim, Simio, etc) OR basic knowledge in object-oriented programming (Python, R, C++, Java) OR experience with large data sets with SQL or No-SQL
- Ability to read technical documentation for manufacturing processes (electronics, mechanical and electromechanical assembly, system tests)
