Job Summary
Support continued production by running cable and wire, mounting control boxes, and troubleshooting electrical components including PLC panels, drives, motors, and generators. Complete terminations and high-voltage splices while reading prints and testing circuits, fans, and transformers across 4-20 mA, 4160, and up to 480V systems. Develop knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations to troubleshoot related equipment. Requires minimum three years of industrial electrical experience, PLC proficiency, and DC/AC drive expertise. Located near Gouverneur, NY, with a 2-hour drive to Lake Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
- Authorized to work in the US
- PLC experience
- DC/AC/Drive experience
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks
