Job Summary
Support continued production by running cable and wire, mounting control boxes, and troubleshooting electrical components including PLC panels, drives, motors, and generators. Execute high-voltage splices, test circuits, and read prints to repair systems operating up to 480V AC and DC voltages. Develop knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations to troubleshoot related equipment. Requires minimum three years of industrial electrical experience, PLC proficiency, and DC/AC/Drive expertise. Located near Gouverneur, New York, with a 2-hour drive to The Thousand Islands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
- Authorized to work in the US
- PLC experience
- DC/AC/Drive experience
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks
