Job Summary
Design, install, and maintain electrical power and control installations while reading blueprints and interpreting code specifications. Pull wire through conduits, splice circuits, and install or repair lighting fixtures, switches, and circuit breaker panels. Troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, test continuity, and inspect components to ensure safety and code compliance. Provide emergency response services for all facilities and support instrumentation and engineering teams during maintenance and repair duties. Requires a Texas Electrician License, trade certification, and ability to lift 25 pounds. Full benefits package includes 401(k) matching, PTO, and healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical codes
- Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
- High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted for approximately 25% of the average work day
- Attainment of trade certification
- Must have Texas Electrician License or be able to obtain
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, crouch, crawl and/or climb for prolonged periods
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program; or equivalent
