Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and calibrate electrical, electronic, and process control systems across mechanical, production, cleanroom, office, and utility areas. Respond to work requests and power/control problems in accordance with local, state, and federal NEC standards. Implement preventive maintenance procedures, document system changes, and coordinate repairs with management, engineers, and contractors. Determine necessary parts, tools, and supplies while reading electrical prints to identify root causes. Perform equipment preventative maintenance and improvements, adhering to an 8-hour shift schedule, 5 days a week, and wearing complete fab attire and PPE. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid State of Minnesota Electrician's License (Minimum Journeyman)
- Master Electrician License preferred
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and pneumatic, analog and digital electronics, computer/microprocessor-based control systems, including electrical maintenance/troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and deliver results, while being able to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints & measurement instruments to better troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Have positive interpersonal skills, highly energetic and self-motivated
- Ability to use problem solving principles to identify and implement root cause fixes
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work a minimum of 8-hour shifts, a minimum of 5 days/week
- Wear complete fab attire for full shift & meet all safety and cleanroom requirements
- Wear proper personal protective equipment for work with hazardous chemicals, gases, and hot/cold outdoor environments
- US Citizenship Required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor fab facilities
- Master Electrician License
