Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls while supporting all production and physical plant equipment. Analyze circuits and wiring diagrams to install, repair, calibrate, and replace electronic devices and systems. Plan work procedures, determine replacement needs, and develop logical approaches to correct problems. Collaborate with other trades and vendors on coordinated maintenance tasks and cross-discipline troubleshooting. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to detect and prevent equipment failures. Comply with applicable regulations, the company's safety program, and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown. Operate equipment in accordance with site requirements and maintain equipment logs. Respond quickly to issues that may put employees at risk for injury.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- electrical apprenticeship
- vocational school/technology certificate in electricity
- Minium of five (5) years of electrical technical hands-on experience
- wiring automation machine control panels
- PLCs
- Adherence to apply standards per the National Electrical Code
- National Electrical Safety Code
- Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
- diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read, use and understand gauges
- tools
- instruments relating to equipment repair
- Scissor lift driving experience
- Scissor lift driving experience is preferred but not necessary
