Job Summary
Industrial Electrician role on-site in a manufacturing environment with 12-hour continental rotation. Responsibilities include installing and terminating wiring for industrial equipment, performing electrical testing, and assembling and wiring control panels per drawings, specifications, and electrical codes. Must mentor apprentices, uphold safety and quality, read blueprints and schematics, and apply PLCs, instrumentation, and process control knowledge. Strong emphasis on GMPs/food safety, a safety mindset, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. On-site with exposure to plant operations and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician preferred
- 4th year apprentices’ applications considered
- Criminal Record Checks are required for successful applicants
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Experience in PLCs, instrumentation, and process control
- GMPs and food safety standards knowledge
