Job Summary
Conduct industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling voltages up to 480 vac. Install and troubleshoot relay and PLC-controlled equipment, including reading ladder logic code and online programs. Maintain knowledge of AC/DC motors, drives, transformers, and power distribution while performing preventative maintenance and machine operations. Read blueprints, understand tolerances, and work with standard and metric sizes using your own tools. Requires at least three years of industrial electrician experience and ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift including holidays and overtime. Quad offers a compressed work week, onsite fitness center, and paid relocation for candidates 100+ miles from the plant in Sussex, WI. Wage ranges from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as an Electrician in an industrial maintenance setting
- Must be proficient in repairs of Control Systems, PLCs (including online programs and ladder logic code), and AC/DC Drives
- Prior experience working with motors, transformers, control systems, and power distribution
- Need to have own tools required for the job
- Must be able to read blueprints, understand tolerances and measurements and work with standard and metric sizes
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, working holidays and overtime as needed
