Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, motors, PLCs, and automation equipment to ensure production reliability and minimize downtime. Diagnose failures using schematics and diagnostic tools while performing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment upgrades. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and LOTO, while completing work orders and documenting repairs in the CMMS. Work with operations and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification
- NFPA 70# Certification
- Arc Flash Training
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Experience using CMMS software
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control circuits
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety standards
- Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, amp clamps, and other electrical diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong understanding of quality systems and manufacturing documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and process understanding
- Ongoing training and education
- Friday to Monday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday to Monday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
