Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and switchgear. Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems while interpreting schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues. Calibrate instruments and adhere to safety regulations such as Lockout/Tagout procedures. Document all maintenance activities accurately. This role supports manufacturing teams in Montague, MI, with a salary range of $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. Red Seal certification and five years of manufacturing experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal or equivalent Industrial Electrician certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs)
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and local electrical codes
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Formal training or certification in thermography, vibration analysis, or motor circuit analysis
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and blueprints using CAD software
- Experience with robotic systems and automation (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA)
