Job Summary
Execute standard electrical work processes using AM and PM maintenance standards while troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing bakery equipment to maximize operational reliability. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance activities, then identify and report technical losses within your assigned area. Maintain 480V systems and PLC/VFD infrastructure through rapid troubleshooting and proactive preventive care to minimize manufacturing downtime. Requires 2nd or 3rd shift availability at the Chicago Bakery plant. This role directly supports production continuity for iconic brands like Oreo, Ritz, and Sour Patch Kids within Mondelēz International's largest U.S. market.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- Proven industrial electrical experience working with 480V systems
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC & VFD systems
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing and production equipment
- Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules
- Strict adherence to industrial safety and quality standards (e.g., LOTO, arc flash safety)
- Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating as appropriate to the plant site
- Strong collaboration skills within a diverse, fast-paced team environment

- Experience with PLC programming, logic modification, and industrial system coding
