Job Summary
Troubleshoot, assemble, install, test, maintain, and improve electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols for industrial equipment. Coordinate resources, machinery, and specialty tools to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime. Report hazards immediately, enforce proper PPE usage, and champion a safe culture to protect people and assets. Deliver high-quality work through accurate inspections and drive continuous improvement by providing feedback for preventive maintenance. Foster collaboration by communicating effectively and participating in Total Productive Maintenance initiatives to support team performance and business goals.
Required Qualifications
- comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, maintaining and making improvements to electrical systems
- relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery and specialty equipment
- Thorough understanding of the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment
- ability to act as a formal resource coordinating others
- ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change in the manufacturing environment
- Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) knowledge
- ability to stop work when hazards arise and report injuries or risks immediately
- compliance with HSE standards and use of proper PPE
- ability to recognize and minimize environmental impacts
- ability to ensure compliance with regulations
- ability to apply craftsmanship and perform accurate inspections
- ability to provide feedback for preventive maintenance
- ability to raise issues proactively
