Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and rebuilding industrial production machinery and supporting equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes while inspecting machinery to ensure specified parameters. Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, and articulating lifts as required. Review and assist with creating maintenance schedules, work instructions, and work logs. Interpret safety and work instructions to understand required specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electric drawings and Blueprints
- Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies (bearings, & couplings, gears & gear trains, chains & sprockets, brakes & clutches, belts & pulleys)
- Knowledge in troubleshooting and rebuilding various types of pumps, e.g. centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps
- Ability to use precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Experience with 13.2 volts, DC transformers from 12v to 1200v, 480 vac
- Knowledge of Control Logix, Allan Bradley, Automax, Automate and Modicon
- Use of Fluke 289 multimeter (company provided), ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of AC and reliance DC drives
- Knowledge of gas burners is essential
- Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability and aptitude
- Must be able to analyze and execute problem solving techniques
- Must have the ability to work in a team setting as well as be a self-starter that can multitask
- Basic Computer Skills

- Knowledge of Red Lion controls preferred
