Job Summary
Industrial Electrician needed to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical systems and components for industrial machinery and equipment at Standard Forged/McConway operations in McKees Rocks, PA. Responsibilities include testing new equipment, high voltage repairs (controls, relays), installing and repairing electrical panels, relays, and switches, troubleshooting electronic/mechanical/electrical computer-controlled equipment, and basic PLC/CNC programming. Requires 1+ year related electrical experience, ability to read schematics/blueprints, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Emphasizes safety practices, and participation in safety initiatives. Shift flexibility across all shifts; safety-sensitive role with plant environment exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of related electrical experience
- Understands principles of electricity/electrical control and understands general electrical schematics
- Fully capable of troubleshooting and testing all electrical applications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Safety awareness and observance of safety rules and procedures
