Job Summary

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, and repair devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, motors, and lighting ballasts. Test electrical systems for continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety. Use power construction equipment, measuring devices, and hand tools to update as-built drawings and maintain common electrical spaces. Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification and attend tool box safety meetings. Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous electrical experience
  • ISA Instrumentation Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English
