Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment while troubleshooting complex electrical and logic problems. Work as a team member or independently to complete projects, accurately interpreting technical documents and conducting quality assurance inspections. Manage PLC automation software and coding languages, applying knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic processes to diagnose issues. Adhere to safety procedures and electrical codes while performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and climbing ladders. Read schematics and blueprints to execute assignments effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production
