Job Summary
Install conduit, cable tray, supports, electrical equipment, wire, and cable; perform equipment connections and electrical terminations; read electrical drawings, layouts, and installation details; measure, bend, cut, thread, and install conduit; assist with industrial feeders, controls, equipment wiring, and related electrical systems. Use lifts, ladders, power tools, and electrical installation equipment safely while following directions from the foreman or project lead. Identify missing materials, installation conflicts, and potential problems; maintain a clean and organized work area; protect completed work and customer property. Work safely while maintaining a strong and consistent pace. Help less-experienced crew members when appropriate. This role requires significant electrical construction experience and at least some industrial electrical experience. Candidates must be reliable, arrive on time, and work extended shifts or overtime when required in warm industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- Significant electrical construction experience
- At least some industrial electrical experience
- Experience installing conduit and pulling wire and cable
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and installation details
- Ability to use electrical hand tools and power tools safely
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time every scheduled workday
- Ability to work extended shifts and overtime when required
- Ability to work in warm industrial environments
- Strong attention to workmanship and jobsite safety
Desired Qualifications
- A Florida electrical license
