Job Summary
Industrial Electrician with hands-on experience across industrial, mechanical, and commercial electrical systems. You will install, maintain, and repair industrial plant and electrical systems, support automation engineers, troubleshoot to minimise downtime, and collaborate with other trades on site in Dunedin, NZ. Must have NZ EWRB practising licence, be able to work independently, participate in an on-call roster, possess a Full Class 1 driver’s licence, and demonstrate strong fault-finding, safety-consciousness, and computer skills. Role involves site-based work across industrial, mechanical, and HVAC environments with opportunities for travel and ongoing training. Required Qualifications
- Current NZ EWRB practising licence
- Proven experience in industrial, mechanical, and commercial electrical work
- Experience with plant equipment, industrial, HVAC, or automated systems (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- An on-call roster operates; you will be expected to be part of the on-call roster.
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Willingness for occasional travel
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Solid computer skills and exposure to a wide variety of computer applications
