Job Summary
Industrial Electrician needed in the Shelby, NC area to install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components for Commercial/Industrial facilities. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, diagnosing issues, and ensuring compliance with NEC codes and blueprints; running feeders, pulling cable, bending conduit; documenting repairs and service information; performing preventative maintenance; troubleshooting and executing timely repairs. Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience, able to lift up to 50 pounds, read blueprints and schematics, and pass a drug test. Valid driver’s license required; overtime may be required. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Commercial / Industrial electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license in state of practice
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, kneel
- Comfortable reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Working knowledge of electrical theory and engineering basics
- Ability to operate hand and power tools related to electrical work
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
- Willing to work overtime
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Clean criminal background
