Job Summary
Industrial Electrician role supporting maintenance in manufacturing facilities, with responsibilities including diagnosing malfunctioning systems, troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, and electrical drives, performing preventative maintenance on shop machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, using SAP for maintenance actions, reading electrical schematics, and providing technical assistance to maintenance and production teams. Requires safe work practices, adherence to safety programs, and ability to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays. Education includes High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience; 3+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred. Will operate various diagnostic tools (digital voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.) and comply with PPE and safety standards; location includes Mills and Knoxville Mill in Tennessee, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience preferred
- AC/DC troubleshooting experience required
- Knowledge of electrical/electronical schematics
- Experience with Siemens and/or other PLC troubleshooting preferred
- Ability to interact with maintenance and production personnel
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in strenuous environments
