Job Summary
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery, including motors, VFDs, MCCs, and PLCs. Troubleshoot electrical failures, read schematics and P&IDs, and perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and processing equipment. Respond to maintenance calls, support startup and shutdown procedures, and assist with capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Complete scheduled work orders, document activities in the CMMS, and participate in safety audits and training while adhering to OSHA and NFPA 70E standards. Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of industrial electrical experience preferred
- Must be available to work rotating shifts
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be available to work holidays
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Must be available for emergency call-ins
- Participation in an on-call rotation may be required
- Must comply with all company safety procedures and policies at all times
- Must comply with OSHA regulations
- Must comply with NFPA 70E requirements
- Must comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Must comply with Arc flash safety standards
- Must comply with Confined space procedures
- Must comply with Hot work procedures
- Must use proper PPE and maintain safe work practices in all areas of the facility
- Must identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment failures immediately
- Must participate in safety meetings, audits, inspections, and training activities
- Must maintain good housekeeping standards in maintenance shops and work areas
- Must be able to stand

- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must have close vision

- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must regularly work near moving mechanical parts
- Must regularly work in high, precarious places
- Must use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, respirators, hearing protectors, etc. in designated areas
